Like Dan’s other color-inspired pieces, this one has a striking pattern. The simple column vase shape is so seldom used in art glass sculptures of this size that it really draws attention when you see it!
This vivid aqua column vase is quite a magnificent piece of hot blown glass sculpture using murrini technique by the creative glass artist Dan Alexander. Most agree that the abstract and unusual look of this work is characteristic from this artist. Of course, the technique in Hotblown Glass is wonderfully dazzling!More Information
Dan has traveled the world working with many internationally known glass artists. He has studied with Elio Quariso, Martin Janecky, Dante Marioni, James Mongrain and Davide Fuin. In fact, he spent several months working with Davide Salvadore in his private studio in Murano, Italy. These experiences have given Dan the tools needed to create some of the most beautiful glass to be found anywhere!
Dan was featured at SOFA Chicago 2017 and 2018.
