Like Dan’s other color-inspired pieces, this one has a striking pattern. The simple column vase shape is so seldom used in art glass sculptures of this size that it really draws attention when you see it!Bicolor Zoanthid Column is an excellent specimen from the work of Dan Alexander. The beautiful use of aqua and yellow in this column vase is fun. On a basic level, the abstract and darker toned look of this use of this murrini and hot blown technique in hotblown glass is a magnificent statement.

Dan has traveled the world working with many internationally known glass artists. He has studied with Elio Quariso, Martin Janecky, Dante Marioni, James Mongrain and Davide Fuin. In fact, he spent several months working with Davide Salvadore in his private studio in Murano, Italy. These experiences have given Dan the tools needed to create some of the most beautiful glass to be found anywhere!
