This is a very unusual double bottle form in a striking blue with an interesting zanfirico pattern in white. There is a significant degree of difficulty in pulling out the center and the entire piece, though hollow, is sealed.
Electric Blue Stalactite is an excellent example of the work of Dan Alexander. Isn't the contemporary use of aqua in this stalactite rather engaging? Indeed, the abstract and modern property of this use of the zanfirico cane technique in Hotblown Glass is quite a magnificent statement.More Information
Dan has traveled the world working with many internationally known glass artists. He has studied with Elio Quariso, Martin Janecky, Dante Marioni, James Mongrain and Davide Fuin. In fact, he spent several months working with Davide Salvadore in his private studio in Murano, Italy.
