This is a very unusual double bottle form in a striking blue with an interesting zanfirico pattern in white. There is a significant degree of difficulty in pulling out the center and the entire piece, though hollow, is sealed.
Electric Blue Stalactite is characteristic of the work of Dan Alexander. Can you see this lovely aqua stalactite in your home? We think the abstract and bright colored nature of this use of the zanfirico cane technique in Hotblown Glass is a great statement.

Dan has traveled the world working with many internationally known glass artists. He has studied with Elio Quariso, Martin Janecky, Dante Marioni, James Mongrain and Davide Fuin. In fact, he spent several months working with Davide Salvadore in his private studio in Murano, Italy. These experiences have given Dan the tools needed to create some of the most beautiful glass to be found anywhere!
Dan was featured at SOFA Chicago 2017 and 2018.
