All the pieces in this series were created with a technique called ‘kinetic casting’ in which the mold is spinning as hot glass is poured into it.
This contemporary red disc is an amazing piece of hot blown glass sculpture using cast glass technique by the gifted glass artist Rick Jarvis. In addition, the abstract aspect of this work is an excellent specimen from this artist. Of course, the technique in Hotblown Glass is astonishingly dazzling!
