All the pieces in this series were created with a technique called ‘kinetic casting’ in which the mold is spinning as hot glass is poured into it.
This brilliant red disc is a great piece of hot blown glass sculpture using cast glass technique by the brilliant glass artist Rick Jarvis. Indeed, the abstract look of this work is an excellent example from this artist. Of course, the technique in Hotblown Glass is incredibly impressive!
