About Afro Celotto
Master Afro Celotto was born in Venice, on the quiet, peaceful, but quite colorful island of Burano.
Celotto worked with with the legendary Lino Tagliapietra from the age of 14 until until replacing Lino upon his departure at Effetre 12 years later.
He is recognized for his technical mastery of traditional techniques such as work with murrine, filigrana and reticello.
Since these early years Afro has continued to extend his artistic range with an incredible range of glass sculpture. and artistic expression.
